First of all, we’re changing our name. The debate is open until February 1st, so get voting!
For now, barring any unforeseen circumstances, we’re going to rename ourselves ZOTA on February 1st.
What’s New

Hunters: That’s it! Hunters are now counted towards the scores. You’ll see that this completely changes the established order, and some teams that weren’t necessarily the most active in activations are turning out to be dedicated hunters.

Winter Bonus Recognition: SOTA winter bonuses are now being recognized and added to the multiplier (e.g., a 4-point peak with a 3-point winter bonus will count as a 7-point peak).

Territory coverage now covers the entire world: all locators are now present, and activations on distant locators are now taken into account (e.g., USA).
Bugs & Improvements:
- The map has been improved to provide a more comprehensive view when zooming out.
- Some activators had missing SOTA activations. These are now correctly recorded.
- With the increase in visitor traffic in recent weeks, the site became too slow. Some pages have therefore been redesigned, and a pagination system has been implemented (and will continue to be implemented on other pages) to ensure fast navigation.
- During score recalculation, territories could display incorrect teams. This has been resolved.
- Many minor bugs have been fixed.
This major update will likely bring its own set of issues, and I’d like to thank you again, on behalf of the entire team, for your feedback and ideas that allow us to build all of this together. It’s truly fantastic.
