Naming conflict with Toilets On The Air 🚽

Hi,

I just wanted to raise the naming conflict of this program with TOTA = Toilets On The Air :toilet::satellite_antenna:, which is a very serious, reoccurring, international activity program. TOTA is often organized at multi-day hacker conferences with a strong amateur radio presence, but also sometimes at amateur radio conferences.

Hey Tobias,
RR. Obviously, we can’t keep the name TOTA if it’s already taken for something else.

I wasn’t familiar with Toilets on the Air; I’m very happy to learn about this program.

I’m also very pleased to see all these people from Germany joining us. I realize that many discussions are currently in French; we’ll try to gradually switch new topics to English.

I’ll start a discussion thread here: « A new name for TOTA » so we can find a new name together.
